Let’s you centralize all of your phone calls. You can then receive the phone call from any phone whether it’s your home, office, or cell.
If you ignore a call, the voice mail is transcribed and sent to you as an e-mail, and SMS, or both.
All phones ring simultaneously when there is an incoming call, allowing you to answer from whichever phone is most convenient.

How it’s done:
Use the Google number finder tool to find an available number in your area code. This becomes your new, universal number. Google says it plans to offer number portability so you could make one of your current phone numbers, your universal number.
Once you have your number, set up your account on a personal Voice Web page. That’s where you link your home, work, and cell numbers.
After that, whenever someone calls your universal number, all your phones will ring and you can pick up on whichever phone is most convenient.
If you don’t pick-up, and someone leaves a voicemail, Google voice transcribes the message into an e-mail or SMS. | |||
