Try to explain to a non computer user what Microsoft Excel is.  “Well, its a spreadsheet; A page of rows and columns that lets you calculate equations automatically after setting it up”.  That would be confusing because Excel™ can be used for  just about  anything.  The same is true of Smartsheet.  Smartsheet is to Excel™ what a bicycle is to a car.  They’re both used for transportation but a car can do so much more.

At its core, it IS a spreadsheet, but its web-based for easy collaboration.  In addition, you can invite clients, and colleagues to see only  those portions of the spreadsheet that they need to see (even if its just a row).  

Are there other document types that might be associated with that row such as a PDF of the proposal that’s associated with an opportunity amount?  Simply click the paperclip and it is linked.
